2nd Shift Live Haul CDL Driver

This position is responsible for the transport and delivery of freight on time in a professional manner by driving diesel-powered tractor trailer combinations short and or long distances, while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
The Live Haul Driver must be willing to pick up a trailer loaded with empty cages and transport them to the poultry farm. Once on the farm the Live Haul Driver must be willing to unbind the cages which will allow the cages to be unloaded. Once loaded the cages are then filled and restacked and loaded back onto the trailer and the Live Haul Driver must be willing to binds the load of cages and transports them to the processing plant and drops the trailer at the live haul shed. Must be willing to lift 40 lbs. occasionally and must be willing to work in and be exposed to outside temperatures and environment. Must be able willing to sit for 8 to 10 hours a day must be willing to grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend and stoop occasionally. If the applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. The Waldron Complex Safety Goal is Zero Accidents.
You must be 21 years of age and have at least one year of driving experience. You must have a valid Class A CDL. Applicants from the following counties will be considered Scott, Yell, Sebastian, Logan and Polk Counties. Applicants must pass a background check before being placed in position. Your application is only active for the current month in which you applied. You will need to reapply next month to have an active application and be considered for employment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
